What happens when AI answers before your site does

More and more searches now come back with a written answer instead of a list of links. A brand left out of that answer loses the clicks it used to get from ranking.

01

Your brand is missing from the answer

The AI answers for your category name your competitors and leave you out, so they get the attention.

02

The model gets you wrong

It repeats an old price or an old pitch with total confidence, and you can't email it a correction.

03

Clicks stop before they reach you

Plenty of searches now end on the results page. You can rank well and still never get the visit.

What our AI SEO services cover

Changing your own pages won't change what AI says about you by itself. So we run campaigns across the sites models learn from, then check what they say back.

01

AI describes your brand in a good way

Our AI sentiment campaign, usually six months, replaces the sources behind a weak or wrong view of you with better ones.

02

Your brand on the list AI recommends

An AI brand awareness campaign puts you on the independent sites models learn from, so they know you belong in your category.

03

AI trusts what you say about yourself

Mentions on trusted outside sites back up your claims, so AI tools find the same proof well beyond your own website.

04

AI picks you over the rivals it names today

We see which competitors AI tools recommend in your category, then work to put your brand ahead of them.

05

AI gets the facts about you right

Models get your prices and product details right and credit them to you. Clear structure and markup on your site helps them do it.

06

AI keeps describing you well

BrandLens™ tracks how each platform describes you every day. If the tone starts to slip, we catch it and fix the cause.

Why on-page work isn't enough

A language model learns about your brand from the whole web, and your own site is a small part of that. Fixing your pages helps a model quote you correctly. It does far less to decide whether you get recommended.

We build each campaign around your category and the rivals AI names in your place. If a model starts quoting an old price, or puts a new competitor ahead of you, we see it in daily tracking and tell you that week.

What an AI search visibility audit includes

Our AI search optimization services start with an audit. We test how your brand shows up in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and regular search, then show you what to change.

Where you're named, and where you're not

We check the answers for searches on your brand name and for the category searches buyers make before they know you, and score the two separately.

How you compare with competitors

We see which rivals AI tools name in your place, how often they come up and in what tone, so the gaps are easy to spot.

Whether the description is accurate

We flag wrong prices, old positioning and missing details in what each platform says about you, so the errors can be fixed.

A growth plan ranked by impact

You get a generative AI SEO strategy with a short list of next steps for outside campaigns, on-site content and technical fixes, biggest wins first.

How an AI SEO campaign runs

We start with what AI says about you today and keep going as the models change.

01

Audit

We test how AI platforms answer your category's buying questions today, and find the sources behind those answers.

02

Run the campaigns

The sentiment and awareness work goes out across third-party sites. We also fix the content and markup on your own site so it backs them up.

03

Track

Models update all the time, so a win has to be kept up. We watch mentions and sentiment every day and act when something moves.

How we measure AI search visibility

Optimizing for AI search only pays off if you can see it working. We track it with our own software, StakeView™ and BrandLens™, and report on the numbers, not on activity.

StakeView™

StakeView™ measures your share of voice across search and AI for branded and non-branded terms, based on 37 weighted signals.

BrandLens™

BrandLens™ shows the tone ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews use for your brand, the sources they cite and how often you're mentioned.

Progress by term and platform

Your reports break results down by search term and by platform, so you can see what moved, where, and what we're doing next.

AI SEO questions we get asked

What is AI SEO?+
AI SEO, also called generative engine optimization (GEO) or AI engine optimization, is the work of getting your brand named and recommended in answers from tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. It overlaps with traditional SEO. The difference is the goal, which is the answer a model gives about you rather than where a page ranks.
Why is our organic traffic down even though rankings look fine?+
AI answers and zero-click results take clicks that used to reach your site. You can stay in position one and still lose visits, because the searcher got what they needed on the results page. The way back is to be in the answer itself.
How do you make sure AI describes our brand correctly?+
We check how each platform describes you now and trace the sources behind it. Then we fix those sources and add better ones. After that we keep watching, because one stale review or old article can drag the description back. The same people stay on your account from the first audit on.
How long before we see results?+
Many clients see early movement within four to six weeks, because models refresh much more often than rankings settle. Bigger gains in citations and sentiment build over several months.
How is AI search optimization different from traditional SEO?+
Traditional SEO tries to win a spot in a list of links, while AI SEO tries to get you into the answer itself. That depends on two things. Machines have to be able to read your content, and enough independent sites have to describe your brand the same way.
Can you work alongside our existing SEO agency?+
Yes, and it's common. We often run the AI visibility work while another team handles regular SEO. We share what we find so the two efforts help each other.
Which platforms do you cover?+
ChatGPT and Gemini, plus Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, as standard. We add others as people in your market start using them, and we keep an eye on new assistants so a change in where buyers ask doesn't catch you off guard.
Is AI SEO worth it if our traditional rankings are strong?+
Usually yes, because the two don't move together. Brands that rank first for a term are often missing from the AI answer to the same question. Models look at mentions across the wider web, and your ranking is only one piece of that.
Is AI SEO a good fit for smaller companies?+
Often, yes. Smaller brands tend to be left out of AI summaries and comparisons, even when their product is a good match. Getting your content picked up and described accurately can put you in the same answers as much bigger names.
What happens if an AI tool states something wrong about us?+
We trace the sources behind that description, then fix them or outweigh them. Wrong prices and old descriptions usually come from a stale page or a third-party listing nobody has updated, so fixing the source changes the answer.
Do we need to publish more content for AI visibility?+
Not always. Reworking your current pages so models can read them and credit them to you often helps more than new pages do. We go through what you have before we suggest anything new.
How do you prove this is working?+
Before we start, we test how often you're named when people ask AI about your category. Then we track whether you get named, how you're described and which sources the model cites. You get a before and after you can check for yourself, instead of a promise.
Can we see a sample report before we start?+
Yes. On the discovery call we can walk you through a sample StakeView™ report, so you can see how we measure share of voice, where a brand appears and how that changes over time.
What is an AI sentiment campaign?+
It's a campaign to change how language models describe your brand and compare it with rivals. We trace the sources behind the current impression, then create and place content that corrects it. Our in-house writers create that content by hand, and none of it is written by AI. Evry Jewels, a fast-fashion jewelry brand, ran a six-month sentiment campaign with us, and ChatGPT now picks it in comparisons.
What is an AI brand awareness campaign?+
It's work to make models aware that your brand exists in your category at all. If you're missing from the independent sources a model learned from, it can't recommend you, however good your website is. So we build that presence on purpose.
Is this just on-page SEO for AI?+
No. On-page work helps models quote you correctly once they find you. Whether they recommend you depends on what the rest of the web says about you, and the campaigns are what change that.
How long does a sentiment campaign run?+
Six months is typical. The sources models rely on need time to get published, indexed and picked up. Early shifts often show up sooner, and we tell you what's moving as it happens instead of saving it for the end.
